Profile Settings (iOS)

Opening profile settings

Go to Settings → Profile → Edit Profile.

What you can edit

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Phone number

Your email address is tied to your Grid Getter account and cannot be changed from the app. To change your email, contact support.

Site Location

Section titled “Site Location”

The Profile screen has a Site Location card for setting your site’s approximate location. Grid Getter uses this for weather data and solar forecasts.

Two ways to set it:

  • ZIP Code — enter a US ZIP code and Grid Getter looks up coordinates
  • City & State — enter a city and state combination

Only latitude and longitude are stored, never your street address. Coordinates are rounded to a ~1 km grid to group nearby sites and reduce API calls.

Once set, your location drives weather fetching (updated roughly every hour), dashboard conditions and forecasts, and future solar production estimates.

Saving changes

Make your edits and tap Save. Changes sync to your account immediately.
