Data Export

Grid Getter lets you export your complete energy history, automation records, and billing data as CSV or JSON files — useful for your own analysis, tax records, or switching to another platform.

What’s included in an export

Dataset	Contents
Automations	All your automation configurations
Action logs	History of every action your automations have taken
Energy history	Your power telemetry data (solar, battery, grid, home)
Billing	Your subscription and payment history

Requesting an export

Go to Settings → Data
Click Request Data Export
Wait for processing — typically 1–5 minutes for most accounts
You’ll receive:
- An in-app notification in the notification bell
- An email to your account address
Click the notification or return to Settings → Data to download your file

Downloading your export

When your export is ready, a download button appears on the Settings → Data page. You can also click the link in the notification or email.

Download links expire after 30 days. Request a new export if yours has expired.

Export format

Exports are delivered as a ZIP archive containing multiple CSV files (one per dataset). Each CSV includes headers and is compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and most data analysis tools.

Export limits

You can request one export per 7-day period
Exports are available for download for 30 days after creation
The date range on the Settings → Data page is optional and defaults to the last 90 days

How far back an export reaches depends on how long Grid Getter keeps each dataset:

Pick a start date earlier than a dataset’s window and that dataset simply begins at its own limit — a two-year range still returns a full year of energy history, but only six months of action logs.
