Notification Settings (iOS)

Go to Settings → Notifications to control which types of alerts Grid Getter sends.

Toggle individual notification types on or off:

  • Automation actions — alerts when an automation changes your reserve level
  • DemandGuard alerts — demand period warnings and mode switches
  • Tesla connection — alerts when your Tesla authorization expires or is restored
  • Billing — subscription changes and payment events

Changes take effect immediately and sync to your account.

In-app toggles only work if iOS has granted Grid Getter notification permission at the system level. If you’ve denied permission in iPhone Settings, no notifications will arrive regardless of in-app settings.

To check or re-enable:

  1. Open iPhone Settings.
  2. Tap Grid Getter.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Turn on Allow Notifications.

If notifications stop arriving after re-enabling them in iPhone Settings:

  1. Go to Settings → Account.
  2. Tap Refresh Push Notifications.

This re-registers your device token with Grid Getter’s backend.

If your push token expired or became invalid (e.g., after switching devices), Grid Getter will send you an email with subject “Push alerts need attention.” Opening the app is all it takes to fix it — push notifications re-register automatically.
