Notifications (Android)

Grid Getter sends push notifications for automation events, system alerts, and subscription updates. The Notifications screen is your in-app log of everything that’s been sent.

Open it from the drawer (☰ → Notifications).

Notifications are listed in reverse chronological order. Each card shows:

  • Date and time the notification was sent
  • Title (if present)
  • Message body

Scroll to the bottom of the list to load older notifications — the screen loads more automatically as you reach the end.

Use the filter chips to narrow the list:

  • Today
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • All time

Tap a chip to reload.

If your account has more than one Tesla site, a site selector appears below the header. Tap the dropdown to switch sites. Notifications are filtered to the selected site.

Android delivers Grid Getter push notifications through four channels. You can control each channel independently in Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter → Notifications.

ChannelWhat it sendsPriority
Grid Getter NotificationsGeneral app notificationsHigh
Automation AlertsAlerts triggered by automation rulesHigh
System AlertsImportant system and error alertsHigh
Subscription UpdatesBilling and plan change confirmationsDefault

To silence a specific channel without turning off all notifications:

  1. Go to Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter → Notifications.
  2. Tap the channel you want to mute.
  3. Toggle it off or reduce its importance.

Grid Getter monitors whether your device token is still valid. If a notification can’t be delivered — because you switched devices, reinstalled the app, or the SNS endpoint was disabled — Grid Getter removes the stale token and sends you an email with subject “Push alerts need attention.”

To restore push notifications, open the Grid Getter app. Your device re-registers automatically.

If push notifications aren’t arriving for another reason:

  1. Go to Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter → Notifications.
  2. Confirm Allow notifications is on.
  3. Check that the relevant channel (e.g., Automation Alerts) is enabled.

See Troubleshooting for more notification help.
